Season Premieres & Season Finales

Whats On TV Tonight? Wednesday September 26th 2007:

Bionic Woman @ 9/8c on NBC- 1st series premiere:

How about no. Now, don’t get me wrong. I am all for strong women. I love super heroes; I still love Wonder Woman and I commend the level of physical training the lead actress Michelle Ryan has to endure. But I cannot see me watching this show…ever. Not without all of the cheese and glory that was Lindsay Wagner.

Criminal Minds @ 9/8c on CBS- 3rd season premiere:

“Revolves around an elite team of FBI profilers who analyze the country’s most twisted criminal minds, anticipating their next moves before they strike again. The Behavioral Analysis Unit is led by Special Agent Aaron Hotchner (Thomas Gibson), a family man who is able to gain people’s trust and unlock their secrets. Also on the team are Emily Prentiss (Paget Brewster), the daughter of high-powered diplomats who recently joined the team and must prove her worth to Hotchner and her co-workers; Special Agent Derek Morgan (Shemar Moore), an expert on obsessional crimes; Special Agent Dr. Spencer Reid (Matthew Gray Gubler), a classically misunderstood genius whose social IQ is as low as his intellectual IQ is high; Jennifer “JJ” Jareau (AJ Cook), a confident young agent who acts as the unit liaison for the team, and Penelope Garcia (Kirsten Vangsness), a computer wizard who helps research the cases. Each member brings his or her own area of expertise to the table as they pinpoint predators’ motivations and identify their emotional triggers in the attempt to stop them.”

*I have yet to see an episode of this show. I think its about time I at least watched the premiere.

Ghost Hunters @ 9/8c on Sci Fi- 4th season premiere:

“Plumbers by day — ghost hunters by night. This one-hour weekly docu-soap follows a group of real-life paranormal researchers as they investigate haunted houses throughout the country, encountering every type of imaginable haunting.”

*I am way tooo chicken to watch this show.

Hotel Babylon @ 9/8c on the BBC America- 1st season finale:

“Hotel Babylon is a tantalising and seductive insight into the sexy world of the five-star hotel industry, where money not only talks but can buy just about anything you desire! Inspired by Imogen Edwards-Jones’s searing exposé of life behind the scenes of London’s luxury hotel industry, Hotel Babylon takes viewers on a journey beyond the glamour and façade of the smiling faces and glittering chandeliers and into the frenetic, non-stop world of the staff.”

* ‘meh’ *

Private Practice @ 9/8c on ABC- 1st series premiere:

“Addison Forbes Montgomery is a renowned surgeon. Having left behind Seattle Grace Hospital, a broken marriage with Derek “McDreamy” Shepherd, and her torn relationship with Mark “McSteamy” Sloan, Addison moves to Los Angeles for sunnier weather and happier possibilities. For Addison, an old friend’s invitation brings her to a new city and a new life full of promise. At Oceanside Wellness Center, the doctors are dedicated pros; it’s their private lives that need a little practice.”

*I am looking forward to this one very much. I loved this trailer. So, yeah, they got me, I will be watching this one. *

CSI: NY @ 10/9c con CBS- 4th season premiere:

“The fourth season begins with Mac searching for a vigilante who threatens to kill a famous musician. The case is set in motion when blood is found on the crown of the Statue of Liberty.”

*I have yet to see an episode of this show. I think its about time I at least watched the premiere.

Life @ 10/9c on NBC- 1st series premiere:

A new drama about a detective who was given a second chance.

*Hasn’t this been done? (to. death.)

Dirty Sexy Money @ 10/9 on ABC- 1st series premiere:

“Power, privilege and family money are a volatile cocktail. Living proof of this are the Darlings of New York City, so absurdly wealthy, they put the upper in Upper East Side. This preeminent family are always getting mixed up with the wrong people and finding themselves in the middle of bad situations. It’ll take a miracle to take care of the legal and sometimes illegal needs of the Darling family.”

*I HAVE to watch this show. Only to support my ‘husbands’ brother, Billy Baldwin, who is a lead character. Watch this trailer.

  1. I will be watching Bionic woman, for two reasons:

1- I would not be caught dead watching Private Practice (just as I would never in a million years watch Grey’s Anatomy).

2- Bionic will feature Katee Sackhoff (Starbuck from the new Battlestar Galactica) as a recurring bad character. I think Katee is awesome, so I’ll watch it just to see her. Otherwise, I could not care less about the show.

  2. I never watched Grey’s Anatomy….But I fell for the trailer of Private Practice.

    I am a soap / drama lover

Never been big on Sci Fi

  3. I’ll be checking out Bionic Woman siince I loved it as a kid and maybe my daughter will like to watch this one. I’ll also be TiVoing private Practice since I liked the intro it got last season on Grey’s. Maybe it will be good.

How about that HOUSE last night? Damn, that guy and his don’t give a shit attitude = SEXY!

  4. I am giving up Grey’s Anatomy this year–stick a fork in it, it’s done! 🙂 So, I won’t be watching Private Practice, either. Tonight is an easy night for me: I’m trying Life and Dirty Sexy Money and that’s it. At least I will have time to finish up what I recorded last night! (How about that episode of House! I think this will be a good season. YUM!)
